Exotic

Cathy and I joined Incredibish and Happy_Janwen at Slimbridge for the day.  While there were plenty of British wild birds to see, I couldn't resist having a bit of a change with this shot of Zuri the East African Crowned Crane.  Those of us lucky enough to have hair will be familiar with that "I've just washed it and a I can't do a thing with it" feeling.

Back in the day, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin featured a chap who had visions of a Hippopotamus whenever his mother-in-law was mentioned.  I rather feel that the Flamingo in the extra might have been more suited for the role, it has the most delightfully disdainful look.
