A little rugby ball & back to normal

Two years ago, when we were all in lock down, Ann used to walk me for miles and miles and miles because she didn't have anything else to do. Some days she made me walk for 15 miles, but that was fine because our time in lock down created a really good bond between us.


Now that life is back to normal, well as normal as it's ever going to be, Ann is struggling to fit my walks into her busyness. Is that a word? We usually get up at 6.45am so that I can have at least an hours walk before breakfast. During lock down we would never have dreamt of getting up at that time. Anyway this morning I went to the park at 7am. It was lovely and sunny. You can see the sunshine rays shining on me in this Blip and just look what I found................... a manky little rugby ball. Yay! I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to fit it into my mouth but it was very squashy so I managed to carry it all the way home. Then I lay 'guarding' it instead of having breakfast!!!


Ann's on a bit of a #summerfitnessplan2022 #aimingforabeachbabebod not that it's working. Lol! so she went off to her fitness club to do the 'Nifty 50s' class at 9.15am and then she swam half a mile and then she went to the supermarket. I was more than happy to have 'home alone' snooze time. When she came home she took me out for a run about in the woods at the back of the Astley Ainslie Hospital but tbh she doesn't like it there very much. She finds it a bit eerie.


This afternoon I stayed 'home alone' again for a couple of hours while my human went off to do a 'M&G' and then went to 'Primark'. Don't even ask what she wanted to buy in Primark???  When she came home I had a little 10 min walk round the block but I'm back in my bed snoozing again. And Ann's exhausted!


….............There's no pleasing some people??? She spent two years ranting about how lonely she was during lock down................. and now that she's rejoined her fitness club and has a job and has to fit my 2hrs of walks into her day....................... she's now ranting about how busy she is and how she hasn't got any time to do 'nothing'?!!!!!!


PS – Neither of us are going to do anything this evening apart from chill out and watch 'Corrie' and catch up on 'EastEnders'. #weknowhowtolive
