Beautiful Carcassonne
I'm being a bit unfair. The city council has put a lot of money over the last few years into subsidising people to improve their facades, and some streets are looking very nice (extra 1). This is an unimproved one.
S had to go to Carcassonne for an ultrasound check to see if everything was working as it should be, so I drove him there. The good news is that it is, so he's officially not ill, albeit still very tired.
Extras: we took advantage of the trip to have lunch first, at Franck Putelat's Bistro aux 4 Temps (extra 2). We were very abstemious, drinking just water and having a light main course and a dessert each. It was very good, and certainly better value than his 2- Michelin star place.
Now we're home and opening a bottle of blanquette to celebrate relative good health. Santé :)
