Another Day Without Rain

But not as hot - what a relief!
But still no rain. I wonder how the poppy survives.

I need some sleep to survive. Last night was another night of many with almost no sleep because of the heat that was still in every corner of the house, despite the open windows. In the shower at at 4:15, walking around on the street in front of the house at 5 am and happy to leave the house for work at 6:10.  Not according to the plan. The plan was to start late today. So much for plans. Perhaps tomorrow. The end of the month is near and my overtime will be cut to 30 hours to take into next month.
