Different But The Same

The Skylark has gone, but the Porty Vault has replaced it. It opened a few weeks ago and we went in tonight to try it out. Some great food and interesting fruity beers. The guy serving was very welcoming and friendly and let us taste a few things first - I liked the Strawberry Sundae beer and L had a Ginger and Pear one. The smokehouse menu is short but they have a vegan pulled 'pork' and several cracking sides, including some great mac n cheese. And we got to sit at the window table - memories of all those mahjong Sunday nights!
