Highlight of the Day

Two Bearded Vultures, playing and circling around the Rote Totz Lucke Col on the way down to Adelboden. You can just see them in the clouds as the others watched through binoculars. How I wished I had my Olympus with the big lens! The best I could do is in extra. It was a chilly day with a lot of cloud and wind, so different from the past couple of weeks as we found our way down the detritus of a dry glacier (second extra). Although I have only been away for two days I feel like I have been on holiday for a week, now fingers crossed that I haven’t caught covid in the hut or train or télécabine. No one is wearing masks on public transport here anymore except me!
