Chulmleigh Country Fair

What a lovely day out - a friend and I went to the Chulmleigh Fair today. 
The weather was perfect - overcast and dry! So much to see and do, from the street market stalls selling any number of goodies, displays of the beautiful birds (extra) to the vintage tractors and cars, the marquee with the cakes and flowers and other exhibits.  There were different things to choose from to eat and drink and in the background these ladies, The Hummingbirds, singing wonderful old songs.
We watched the sheep judging and then later on the family dog show - that was such a hoot with the various categories and lovely to see so many dogs being shown by their proud owners.
We enjoyed welcome cups of coffee (morning) and tea (afternoon) in the churches. The flower displays were wonderful.
