METROGNOMES SUMMER SHOW

Needed cat food in Tesco Gateshead but first I had to go to the Metrocentre where there is a branch of the Halifax ( with longer opening hours ).  The cheque that was returned to me on Monday was to pay my credit card bill.  Due to the length of time it took to come back to me if I had sent another cheque in the post I would have missed the payment deadline and would have been charged interest.  So I decided to go to a branch and pay cash.

On my way to the Halifax I spotted the Metrognomes doing their Summer Show.  The Metrognomes are Herbert, Sherbet, Maggot and Rusty and they are mascots of the Metrocentre.  For this Summer Show they have been transformed into Supergnomes fighting a mysterious figure from outer space who plans to take over the world. There are 4 performances a day. Great fun. Judging by the noise from the audience it seemed like they were enjoying the show.

After paying my bill I got the bus to Gateshead.  Looked in the charity shops and got a kitchen cannister for 50p.  ( last of the big spenders eh) Then into Tesco.  Finally managed to get the cat food Lily likes.

The weather today was overcast the whole time. I was expecting it to rain at any minute but it did stay dry.
