And then the day was gone...

I have galloped through today!  

Chores in the morning, lunch at the golf club to save cooking this evening.  Quick detour on the way home to let me photograph one of the many golden fields around us.  Must get out with the big camera before they're all chopped down.  Crocheted another few rows of Nikki's bed throw, welcomed Alan's pal R who was here for a hydrotherapy session.  She brought biscuits that she'd baked this morning and we had them with coffee.  They were delicious!  Organised for Carole to come and trim Lola next week.  Her feet look like a lion's.  Lola's feet that is, not Carole's :-))  Time in the study working on three paintings!  Desk is a complete guddle so first job tomorrow will be to sort that out!  Made sure I didn't sit too long in the one position and as a result no hip pain.  Yay!  Tesco online order done and a to-do list written for the the next week as lots to remember and do with little chance of me remembering and doing it all!  Now trying to find dates to meet friends Janice and Fiona for lunch in the coming weeks.  It's been ages since we managed to get together so lots to catch up with. 

And now it's bed time!  

And that was Wednesday.  

Ele got in touch this afternoon to say Kenny's mum passed away this morning.  Not unexpected news but sad all the same.  The end of an era.
