Baby trees

These little things are sweet chesnut babies. The mice love em and I have to devise increasingly ingenious ways of keeping them out. The beech seeds were decimated before I realised what was going on. Now its mainly acorns and these that they are after. They've ignored the horse chestnuts whi are all growing very well . It's very satisfying growing things like this.
