Norfolk Sunset
We were all up early, doing last minute packing, then packing the car and getting ready to leave. It was a lovely morning when we set off down the A1 – and the day got nicer and hotter. It wasn’t the ideal day to be stuck in the car – but we were. We stopped off to pick up a picnic and then a bit further on we stopped for petrol and had lunch in a nearby park. It was very hot, but nice to be out in the fresh air and to stretch our legs. We kept going and overall the whole journey was quite smooth, just long. We got to our holiday home just after 6pm and unloaded the car.
TT ad I then headed off to Holt, our nearest town to pick up some supplies and fish and chips for tea. The supermarket was very expensive, so we picked up essentials with a plan to go to a different supermarket tomorrow. It was then home for tea. The fish and chips went down very well.
Later TT and I went for a walk to explore our tiny village, we then explored the paths and found a route back to our holiday house, as the sun was setting. BB and TT watched Spiderman and I relaxed into our holiday.
