Spain, Day 3, Valle de Pineta, Cascada del Cinca

The Valle de Pineta is an amazing place, we have been here twice before but not for a very long time so we decided to join the two previous walks together to make one.

Once you leave the car park you walk and climb along the Cinca which is far smaller in size to the river from yesterdays viewpoint into what feels like a scene from Lord of the Rings with mountains, snow and waterfalls all around. After reaching the waterfall we took a somewhat precipitous path across to the Llanos de Lalarri a completely different looking valley (extra included) with cows grazing and another spectacular waterfall just out of view. A very nice days walk indeed.

Whether it is the time of year or the effects of the last few years of pandemic but this area was far quieter than last time we visited when this valley was busy with people.
