At the pond

A busy day!

First off we had coffee with friends in the morning, then visited M & B.  M had a bad fall a month ago and broke her collar bone, some ribs, and damaged her head, and has bruises all down her body including the face.  She is not young, and is very frail.  She was delighted to see us, even though her dementia has not been improved by her hospital stay.

We came home and after a quick lunch we had a walk at Rouken Glen to get some steps in, (photos taken there) before visited P, who has various health problems, the worst being for me that she cannot speak clearly and it makes for difficult conversation.  However, her granddaughter V arrived unexpectedly and it was lovely to see her as it was a few years since we had seen her.  She is a Flight Attendant for United Arab Emiriates and based in Dubai, and had some great stories to tell.

Glad to be home for a quiet evening!
