My London grandparents
The man in the middle is Pieter Miur, aka Uncle Peter, a Dutch woodcarver who somehow turned up in late 19th-century North London and married into the Gosling family. Left to right - my Great Aunt Grace Clack (nee Gosling) - known to the family as Rich Auntie Grace; Pieter Miur, who if I recall correctly was her uncle; and Caroline Gosling nee Watts, who was the mother of both Rich Auntie Grace and my great grandmother Lizzie Roomes nee Gosling. Taken in the house of Carline Gosling in Holly Gardens, Golders Green.
