Busy, busy at the bird feeders …..

….. and one thing is certain that I need to buy a couple more.

It has been a rather dull and gloomy day with no sunshine to enhance the colours of the feathers. My photos have to be taken through the kitchen window ….. the minute I open the back door the birds are off.

I chose the photo of the sparrows because, tucked in beside the sparrow on the metal arm is a little Long-Tailed Tit …. just a pity it looks a bit squashed. The other visitors today, in the space of half an hour, were starlings, blue tits, goldfinches and the very good looking Mr Bullfinch.
