LAX to LSI

A fine calm day again, with a cloudy morning.  The skies cleared, and a lovely sunny afternoon and evening. 

Early shift in the airport, and started on the check-in desk.  I moved to meeting and boarding flights.  A really busy day, especially with the last flight last night being cancelled.  Walkies with Sammy, and met up with friend Julie.  Mam, Laura, and Julie came to help me in the peat hill this evening, then back to ours for a cuppa. Walkies with Sammy, then bedtime.  Back has improved again today, but still not great, shooting pains when misjudging a step.

I headed down to met the first Aberdeen flight, and walk them into the terminal.  As the passengers started to disembark, I thought I saw some friendly faces, turned out to be Jonny, Ruth and the bairns.  They've been away to L.A. and area for three weeks, seeing Ruth's sister, Ivana.  After a fantastic trip, they were faced with a long journey home.  BA cancelled one of their big flights, then delayed from Manchester, had to stay overnight in Aberdeen, with an early start today.  8am this morning, the Christie's finally made it home.  Taken at Sumburgh Airport.
