County Boudary
We are staying at our caravan lodge for a few days and it’s lovely to be here.
We decided to head east today and drove into the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Part of our route through the Park still forms part of Cumbria. We also passed several boundary markers like this one. The WR indicates the boundary of the old West Riding of Yorkshire which remained extant until the Local Government Act of 1974 made fundamental changes.
