A fair day, it was lovely to see Roo, who brought roses with her, and we set about organising another big Brownie’s day for next year. B’s plumber friend came tonight and whilst I don’t appear to have the leak, the loo wouldn’t flush as I came to bed. I fiddled about in the cistern and found a bit of something stuck behind the bit he replaced on Sunday. So, I took it out and it filled up nicely, and then didn’t stop! FFS! B was no plumber but he always managed to fix these problems. I pulled the stick floaty thing up a bit and I think it’s stopped! At least it’ll overflow outside if it hasn’t.
