Butterfly bush

Headed out this afternoon for a walk around the local nature reserve. Have to say the water in the reserve was VERY low and of course the reeds very dry but it didn't stop some of the wildlife.

The buddleia was past its best but some butterflies were still trying to make the most of it, including this beauty.
Spotted two marsh harriers doing the food pass mid air but the shots on my new camera were rubbish.(extras) When cropped the detail was better than the 7d but settings meant they wren't overly sharp. Am working in manual again for the first time in many years and it's taking some getting used to!
