Bergen, the wettest place in Norway!
Yes, and it's inhabitants are proud of it. 260 days a year of it. And did it rain today? Nearly all day. But it gave us the chance for indoor visits to cathedrals, cafes, funicular railway, museums.... And we found out it was former largest city in Norway , former capital of Norway, former centre of the dried cod and cod liver oil industry....... Hang on there's a bit of a trend developing here. This is currently a splendid and friendly city and well worth revisiting. As we sailed away it stopped raining and the sun came out!
