Drove to Belton House to meet A and A and the dog Fritz. I had a pleasant 45 mins drive but they were delayed by 45 mins due to road accidents, roadworks etc so arrived rather frustrated. We had a nice picnic and catch up but couldn’t walk far as both A’s knees are now very painful. We seem to have less and less to talk about. They left just after 2 as A was anxious about getting home and then doing her food bank shift. I had a nice walk through the grounds and a browse in the gift shop. Managed to get something for Su’s housewarming tomorrow. I was hoping to look around the house but it was closed for filming ( hence the large white lorry). A bit disappointing as I really liked the look of the house and grounds from the outside. Will go back another time. They’ve signed anNDA so couldn’t tell us what the filming was for.
I had an uneventful drive home. Cut the lawn, did some moving things around in the garden and pitted up some bargain succulents I bought from Like dl recently
