K’Road Art Walk

We were on the bus just before 9am this morning on our way to Karangahape Road for a K’Road Art Walk.  There were only six in the group as four had pulled out because of Covid.  We started at Pigeon Park on the corner of K’Road and Symonds Street, then walked up and down and around various streets and lanes looking at lots of street art. It’s amazing what you find when you walk down the back streets.

There are 7,605 new community cases today, and the seven-day rolling average is 7,618 compared to 8,915 last Friday. The number of people in hospital is 799, including 25 in ICU. The seven-day rolling average of deaths attributable to Covid-19 is now 18, and a total of 1,479 deaths have been confirmed as attributable to Covid-19 either as the underlying cause of death or as a contributing factor.
