I wasn't out and about last week, what with feeling pretty exhausted with covid, but I was actually reading the Sunday paper on the Sunday. With the heatwave and the psuedo-presidential Tory leadership race both headlining but with little in the way of intelligent analysis, the mood was not good. To try and counter it, I sent the end of Mike Small's column in The Sunday National to the family politics discussion group.
