55th

Our friends have their 55th wedding anniversary today. Emerald is the colour for this particular one. We could only stretch to an emerald coloured Maynards Wine Gum as decoration.  Mrs S baked this fabulous cake. We took it round. They invited us in. We were offered a piece with them. It would have been rude to have refused. Their dogs looked interested. They have good judgement. It tasted divine. I’ve asked if she can bake another one for us.
