'Ben Kelly'

An easy day today, Mrs RW had her first yoga class since pre kids day this morning while I entertained the kids in their little tepee tent which was set up on the front deck. We played lots of games of noughts and crosses then a few games of paper races (don't ask what this is).

At lunch time we headed up to our favourite watering hole, the St. Andrews Hotel and saw Ben Kelly play a couple of sets with some guests along the way. Never seen him play before so went and introduced myself to him and asked for permission to take some shots, and also bought his EP (CD) which is fantastic. He's hoping to secure some more gigs here later in the year also, so I think we'll be back to see again some time soon as he seems like a really great, down to earth guy with great song-writing abilities and awesome technique. My Mum, Nana Lucas and our very good friend Meg also came along.

Tonight we headed out to one of Mrs RW's cousin's 21st birthday parties. It was a Disney character dress up party, which I didn't find out about until we'd arrived. Anyway it was more for the young ones to enjoy. Everyone went to a lot of effort and as always at these Asian parties there was heaps of delicious food layed on.

We had to leave by about 9pm to get the kidletts home to bed as they were pretty tired.

Also a really warm and quite windy day today, but starting to cool down a bit again from tomorrow.
