Flowering Onion

Had one of those weeks but was pleased with my blips so that's all that matters !
This strange plant has an onion type bulb and a beautiful flower that lasts for just a few days.
The bulb looks like an onion, smells like an onion and yes folks it tastes like an onion.
If I'm not here tomorrow then odds on it wasn't an onion !
