Out and about
We had our postponed trip to the mystical Isle of Thanet today. We went to Ramsgate and scored a Waitrose picnic which we enjoyed at Pegwell Bay Country Park. This image is looking towards Ramsgate and shows the port that, in another world, is busily carrying freight in the boats that Grayling funded - anyone remember all that way back?
From here we went through Dover - nice and quiet today - and on along the coast to New Romney before heading inland through Old Romney and Appledore and Tenterden. A lovely day
