Barista Bouy

A coffee by the beach at Great Yarmouth before driving to Mum and Dad’s. This guy had a little coffee trolley (not sure the correct name for his machine). Made great coffee and had a good chat. He’s not allowed to have any cold drinks because there is an ice cream van that operates from the same car park. Typical random rule from the council! We made do with hot coffee even on this hot day.

The drive up was a bit of a slog. Traffic, road works and accidents meant every stage had some issue. We made it to Darlington for 7pm. We’d estimated 4-5pm yesterday!

Still had some cake left over from yesterday which we’d brought up. Dad was pleased!

It’ll be weird having our own room after bunking up with Kara the last 5 nights. Felt a bit odd setting up the ‘baby’ monitor camera again this evening.

Results back from Scottish Water. Water is drinkable but showed elevated iron and aluminium. They are going to ‘flush the mains’ and then re sample our supply and a neighbours. Hopefully that should remove the odd smell and taste.
