From the train

Up at silly o clock and drove to St Pancras as all the early trains were cancelled post strike. Train to Paris, crossed steamy hot city on the RER to the Gare de Lyon and then the TGV down to Perpignan. Worked pretty non stop but paused to look at the lovely salt marshes as we got down to the Mediterranean. So lovely in the late afternoon sun. I didn’t really take a decent picture but this is better than another restaurant photo. 

V had organised dinner like a general, one taxi,  dropped bags off and on to the restaurant who had a hard out of 9pm. It worked !  Dinner was lovely, in a restaurant against the cathedral and we walked back via the river. Tomorrow we’re off for a weekend at the seaside!
