A SHOWER ON SILLY SATURDAY, BUT...

...not quite the sort Mr. HCB wanted!  

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We were very excited this week to hear that Mrs HCB and one of her favourite Blip friends were planning a Blipmeet for next Saturday - especially as it means going out for a long drive in their new car!  However, it was a bit disappointing to know that it was only for the day and not for a proper holiday, but we’re hoping that they might take us with them when they go on holiday at the end of the month!

When Mrs. HCB bought this new-fangled shower thingy, we thought it was to keep all the shower paraphernalia together and to save them bending down, but we were wrong! It was so she could put us all in there and shower us to make sure we are all clean and sweet-smelling ready for our trip next week.

I have to say that there was quite a lot of squabbling between us, and you can see that because Donald is the tallest he had to go in the very top of the shower thingy, mainly because he wouldn’t fit into any of the other spaces and it was a bit of a squeeze.  What a palaver!

Once we were all in the thingy, Mrs HCB then had to shut the door of the shower to make sure no water got onto the bathroom floor. Of course, there is no photograph of us actually being showered because we knew that the lens would steam up with the hot water, so here we are just prior to going into the shower.  We think that this would have made Admirer giggle to see us all squeezed in but it was great fun.

We’re not giving anything away about where we’re going next week - if you want to know you’ll have to look at next week’s Silly Saturday Blip, but we’re sure you will like it!  

We love going out on adventures with the HCBs and we are so excited because we are meeting another gang.  As you know we are called the Silly Saturday Gang, or the SSG for short - and all we know is that the gang we are meeting next week is called GWNN! That looks almost as if it could be a Welsh name, doesn’t it? We’re not giving any more clues except to say we will be driving about 35 miles so watch this space!

After being away for most of the week, Mr. HCB is out pottering in the garden. He’s hoping that it rains very soon because their garden is looking rather parched and dry, and lots of their plants seem to have died, but plants are very resilient and we’re sure that once they’ve had a quick shower, they will perk up again, just like us!
