First Kayak trip on my lake!!

I love being on the lake as early as April! This morning was so peaceful...it sets the tone for a good day.

Mr. and Mrs. Blue Heron were far away and watching me warily...I couldn't get close but that was o.k. with me...I love seeing them together and it doesn't happen often.

Blackbirds are nesting all along the shoreline in the cattails...I saw blue jays and hawks, wild turkeys and even a beaver...at least his head!

Thank you all for being so kind yesterday to my silly squirrels...I could take a photo of them every single day if I wanted to, but sorry, outdoorguy, I don't want to!!!
