Two Blips in one day for me today so that I am now posting on the relevant day again.
Brian took me over to my Dad's as the train strike is on again today. I am not complaining about the strike, I back them to the hilt! Before going we watched last night's Rugby - looks like a bit of a relegation dogfight is building up between Wakefield and Toulouse. I really want Toulouse to stay up but I don't really want to see Wakey go down either as they are one of the grounds it is easy for us to go to. Even if their ground rules are very "Jobsworth"!
My Dad's OK and all's pretty much normal over there. I had a headache so I scrounged a painkiller from him and it has given me a fuzzy head. But fuzzy is better than feeling like I've been whacked over the head with a mallet. Hope it wears off before work though!
Another night like last night would be good, but no two nights are ever the same. And I'll get paid tonight I hope. I may not like full time hours, but I don't mind full time wages!
I took the photo on the drive home. We took a detour over Metheringham Heath and I noticed the bales along the roadside. The verge, which should be green, is the same colour as the straw bales. These verges are designated as a roadside nature reserve. The bikers were a happy coincidence and make my shot a bit more interesting.
