Hello Blippers!!

The numerous toads in Heidi’s pond have been getting WAY too much attention! (Here and here). So it’s about time for me to say hello!

Hello!!

I am a common frog and I live in Heidi’s pond - the only frog (so it appears), living alongside quite a few toads of various sizes and colours! Thankfully we all get along. We hang out and sunbathe in the irises. And listen to whatever is going on in Heidi’s garden. At night we go on walk-about in the garden, and Heidi is very careful not to step on us. It’s a good thing she’s not squeamish because lots of humans are, which is silly, really. We’re quite harmless.

Today it was very noisy in the garden because Heidi had two friends over for morning coffee - both camping friends. And one of them owns an Alphard, just like Heidi’s Alfie the Campervan. So you can guess what all the conversation was about!! We’ve never actually been in Alfie. Heidi says she is quite happy to have us living with her, but she draws the line at indoors and the campervan! What a pity!! She can’t even be tempted with a kiss!
