Blackcurrant Vinegar

The allotment blackcurrants I've had 'steeping' for the last four days have been turned into blackcurrant vinegar.  My neighbour passed the recipe to me and she uses it in the same way as balsamic.  It tasted nice in the pot so I'm hopeful!
