PICK A PIECE

The children who participated in the Pick a Piece recycling scheme were rewarded with a green T shirt at the Olive Festival in Prince Albert. They could have their faces painted, were given a healthy snack and could draw, play a skittles game or thread bead bracelets. A wonderful initiatve that was originally discouraged by the organisers who thought it was inappropriate and would not promote the town. Instead it sent out a very clear message that people in this town care and many visitors supported the initiatve with donations.
