The Knock, Bathgate Hills

Despite living in the area for over ten years, this is the first time I have actually visited The Knock. I have driven near here many times but never stopped before now to check exactly where it was.

It may only be a short walk up it, but if you are lucky on a day/night like tonight, you are treated to fabulous 360 views.

The eagle-eyed of you may also spot the standing stones in a field in the distance. These aren't actually historical ones but ones placed there by a son as a surprise for his father's 50th birthday!
