Constable Coffee, Police Box

142 of these Police Boxes were installed in Edinburgh in 1933.  They were designed by City Architect Ebenezer MacRae and manufactured by Carron Ironworks in Falkirk.  I have an interest in Carron Ironworks as several of my ancestors were ironmoulders for the company.  Out on my run this morning I couldn't help but notice this converted Police Box at the end of Drumsheugh Gardens with the camper van alongside.
