Liquid gold

After all my trains, all on time, it was out of this world to arrive in Chamonix late evening as the sun set on the glacier, I couldn’t believe it was real. Or that I finally arrived. Sat outside with my supper to keep enjoying the magical view and pinching myself that I’ve actually got here.
