This happened…

We may not be getting a huge accumulation of rain but the storms we do get are becoming increasingly intense. I took this through the front window. The boomers and flashers came simultaneously. The street? Flash flooding.

I had a leaky window and a small flood in the garage. As I was checking other places for leaks, I found holes in several screens. I’m sure they were caused by the hail a couple weeks ago because they were hail-size holes.

The morning was glorious. Blue skies, slight breeze and comfortable temps and humidity. I had planned on getting a haircut and stopping for a few groceries. But for the first time this year, an emergency alert came through my phone. They’re loud and long. So much for going out.

Tomorrow’s another day.
