Can't really complain at that, can I?

Brilliant day weather wise, maybe a bit too brilliant even.
Anyhoo, my plans for the day were fairly straight forward:
1) call and renew my car insurance
2) Fix the dishwasher top rack
3)watch the caps

And those were it until....
1)  BCAA car insurance is closed for the long weekend
2) no sound from the speakers connected to the TV
3) dishwasher top rack got even worse in terms of losing it's tracking


After disassembling the rats maze of wires behind the TV so that I could at least see where everything came from and where it went to, we came to the conclusion that the 12 year old stereo receiver had decided to cock its clogs. Can't really complain at that, can I?

So off t' Bestbuy and then Visions. Turns out there's not many low profile receivers anymore, and what there are, are never in stock.
A "joint" decision was handed down to me that we would think about the wisdom of paying for something that was out of stock, and get back to the salesman tomorrow. (And a very helpful sales guy he was too.) It's decreed, I'm going back to the shop tomorrow. 
Can't really complain at that, can I?

The dishwasher top rack was removed so that we can see exactly what we need, and the dishwasher was loaded up and started. Oh hell, it started to leak all over the floor.
Luckily, we were standing there, turned it off, mopped up the water and then put the top rack back and turned the machine on again.
No leaks! Hallelujah.
Without an exact part number, it took some time to find what I need online, but Amazon coughed up the items on the list. They'll be here in a week.
Can't really complain at that, can I?

Oh, and the Caps? They scored an 88th minute equalizer.
