Quail eggs

As I spent the better part of the day in the kitchen to prepare for a salade niçoise tomorrow, this picture of the cute quail eggs hopefully makes sense. We will meet for our three person book club . I like that we are only three because that allows for good discussions but the meal has a too big place in the meeting in my opinion. Let’s see how this will progress.
Besides the salad I baked a bread and made a vegetable chicken soup that will feed us three times. What a joy and luxury to have all these wonderful products from our and others garden. ( the tiny eggs are sold by a lady here in town who also sells duck eggs.)
