Telephoto lens needed

Sometimes a “proper” camera would be useful. Kingfishers are often found on the seashore at low tide. They observe from dark rocks making a photo very difficult or they sit on the lamp posts. Never on the top, that seems to be reserved for other birds but always on the lower branch.
