Dappled light.

One of the hostas which is situated in a shady spot. We had a bit of rain during the night and the garden has benefited a little as a result.
I’m not watering it at present, because we have drought conditions in several places.
I am looking to put plants in the borders now which can tolerate heat and dryness. I’ve lost several roses and other plants. I don’t want to waste water, which is a precious commodity in lots of places.
We went to church first thing. No road closures this morning.
Time for lunch.
