To Cirencester

On we went, quickly leaving Oxford behind with a much better route for getting out of the city than arriving.  We were cycling fast today, maybe we were getting fitter.  We crossed back into the Cotswolds so more hills, but it was ok.  We had a lovely lunch stop on the edge of a perfectly harvested hayfield-see extra.
We had never been to Cirencester before and what a lovely surprise we got, its quaint and beautiful.  At its centre is a beautiful 12th century Church-St John Baptist.   We settled into the Youth Hostel and had a good explore of the old monastery grounds, the church and the graveyard-fabulous.
