Amazing Scottish toastie

For lunch today, we made Carol Dwyer’s haggis toastie, from yesterday’s Saturday Kitchen, and it was amazing. Apart from haggis, it had caramelised onion chutney, English mustard, loads of strong cheddar and rocket. In other news today, we dropped off a thank you card and tin of biscuits/chocolates to the Menzies Aviation team to say thanks for getting our luggage back to us, yesterday. They have had a lot of bad press recently, and having met the team a few weeks ago, we know they have been working their best to try and sort this all out.

After that, we dropped into the Cancer Research shop to drop off some donations, which will hopefully get them more dosh.

Back home now, listening to Elaine Paige, and looking forward to a chilled afternoon.
