Red Admiral

Despite feeling guilty at watching tv in a morning, I enjoyed watching the gymnastics at the Commonwealth Games.  Such wonderful displays of strength and agility.

When it had finished, I went for a walk around the village.  There were lots of butterflies basking and feeding after yesterday's rain.  I saw Red Admiral, Large and Green-Veined White, Comma and Speckled Wood.

F is coming over for tea and we are looking forward to the Lionesses playing Germany in the Women's Euro final.  What a lazy day, a contrast to yesterday!
