The sailors

Sunshine, showers, even sleet and a very cold North wind have been the order of the day thus far.

I delivered Rose's straw hat with the yellow flower on it from yesterday to her and spent far too long eating, drinking and chatting, but as she is one of my very good friends it was so worth it but it does mean I'm going to be late up to the Gliding Club where T is and with lots of others we will be helping to celebrate a 120th Birthday (joint 60th), so must get a wiggle on.

As I left Rose I popped into the local Sailing Club just after a particularly heavy shower and caught this lot let loose on the water. It is a training day at the Club and there were lots of keen youngsters having tuition in training craft before going out to sea (well the big pond/lake actually)!!
