Broad!
All clear now although Superman, who escaped the Rona, has managed to pull a muscle and has been up through the night with an upset stomach!
A morning sorting out the allotment. Lots of salads have bolted and we're removed. The pumpkins needed protecting and the Crown Prince needed reminded that they shouldn't grown through the netting. The rogue raspberry canes were removed to allow the blueberries to see the light and the Christmas tatties were planted.
After that the harvest of salad, broad beans, beetroot, turnip, courgettes, cucumbers, potatoes, blackcurrants, red currants, and cauliflower. You'd think that would be enough but then you need to clean and prepare everything ready for storing. I'm exhausted.
More work on the garden scheduled for next week which meant tidying things away, throwing things out and organising plants ready for the rip up! With him and a pulled muscle I was on my own. I'm even more knackered.
A rest now to watch the Lionesses! Is it coming home? I do hope so.
