Model Car Concours

I (Chris) was up early for a run to Bicester Heritage in the Lotus to take part in their "model car concours". Owners of an eclectic range of modern and classics brought their cars along but perhaps more interestingly, also display favourite model cars on the dashboard, bonnet or roof! Some brought models of the actual cars they brought, others different cars. A much smaller event than the Bicester Scrambles I'd joined before, it was nevertheless great fun and actually much easier to see all of it and chat with people. The McLaren in the blip went with the "models of the car" approach! A few more photos of cars and models here.  

We're not football fans but we did watch the game this evening from half-time onwards (not sure we missed much in the first half). What a great result for the English ladies.
