ESA Groundstation (Odenwald)

During my hike today (50km, total height difference 620m, avg. speed 20.4kmh, temperature around 30°C) I noticed this thing. Just 20km away from our house, but we never saw it before.
I read that it is an abandoned radar station. First it was owned by ESA, then by ESOC, then by NTS. Only one of both antennas still exists, but without function and without any technical apparatus.
